SRS Game Points Reporting Tool
For those new members or those living under a Guar SRS Game Points is our system for awarding prize points for activities with the guild. Most events reward GP depending on the difficulty or the duration, this can be from 10 points per event right up to 80 points or more! If you run an event with an officer the points you have earned will be added to your score. However, you can also run your own events, the only rule is that it must be with at least one other guild member.
Find out more about Game Points here.
I have added a simple form to fill in if you run an event and want to claim your game points, you can find this form here.
Fill this in every time you run an event with a guild member, it only takes a few seconds to report your event and the rewards can be large, so it's worth doing.
Competitions
The Skywalk competition is open until the 29th September, so you're running out of time to take part, find the details in previous news blogs.
Moon-Sugar Meadow Out Of Bounds Competition
Fluffy Pumpkin won the main prize of 1 million gold, but there is still time for you to send your screen shots and claim your 150K prize, see the Discord channel #competitions for more information.
A video showing the route to this cart will be uploaded at the weekend after the competition closes.
Etiquette
Please remember we are a group of mature, easy-going people with busy lives and lots of responsibilities, that's why when I advertise our guild in chat it states there is no drama and no expectations.
If you are tackling a dungeon that is proving too difficult for some members then please try again at a lower difficulty level, do not continually push people to finish it, it adds stress and pressure to everyone. I don't want to hear criticisms of people's builds unless they ask for advice, we all have different abilities and ping for that matter, not everyone can do Maelstrom Arena on Vet no matter how many times they try, even with the best build possible, we are all different and we all bring positive things to the table.
So avoid comments like "Why are you constantly dying", or "The DPS is too low" or "I'm not getting heals", try to think of ways you can improve the odds of your team, try adding a shield or a self heal, or more damage to suit the conditions, if you still can't finish it as a group then maybe do it non-hard mode or do it again on normal difficulty.
What's really important is playing the game with friends and having fun not winning some arbitrary points in a leaderboard somewhere. In time it will happen but maybe today isn't that day.
Master Crafting Station
I've added most of the really good sets to the stations but there are still many to add. So if any of you have any attunable crafting stations going spare they would be greatly appreciated by the guild, many thanks.
Raffle
Please do have a go at the raffle, it's only 10K per ticket and the money raised helps to pay towards the trader. we have nearly 300 members now, imagine if all members bought 2 tickets a week, that would raise 6 million gold! 3 million to the winner and 3 million to the guild which would go a long way to paying for the trader. Big trading guilds have raffles that raise 40 million a week which is how they can afford to pay the 40 million it costs to hire a trader in Mournhold! I don't expect us to get anywhere near that figure but 400K a week is a little disappointing, so please have a go, you probably won't win but you are really helping the guild. Just deposit money in multiples of 10K to the guild bank, so if you wanted 10 tickets you would deposit 100K. The draw is every Friday at 9pm and you can hear it live on Discord as Alexa picks a random winning number.
Welcome to all new members - We hope you enjoy our super guild of lovely people, there are lots of opportunities for events and rewards so please read the message of the day often and keep up to date with what's going on by reading these news pages and monitoring our Discord server, most of all have fun and never be afraid to ask questions.
Matt
