What are Paladins?

SRS Paladins are supportive members of the Skyrim Red Shirts Guild. Paladin is a rank you can earn through donations to the guild. Paladins have shown their support by donating one million gold (in one go). This gold helps us run competitions and pay for the trader, the latter being the most expensive part of running a modern guild in ESO. We pay on average 7 million gold per week for our trader spot, so the Paladin Rank is beneficial to us.

Exclusive Paladin Benefits

👑Extended AFK Allowance - You may be inactive for up to 13 months before being kicked, instead of 2 months for adventurers and 1 month for regulars/traders

👑You can earn 10% more in prize money for any events you win, so if you win the Guild Points monthly competition of 1 million gold, you will receive 1.1 million! And if you win the Mount Race for 200K, you will receive 220 K. (The weekly raffle is not included in this 10% extra.)

👑Your name is displayed prominently on the website homepage and here on this page below

👑You receive the Paladin Role on our Discord, so your name appears in Gold

👑The following are also allowed by the Paladin Rank in the game
👑Talk and Read in Officer Chat
👑Release Alliance Resources
👑View Guild Gold
👑Receive the Paladin Achievement

👑You are the second-highest rank in the guild under the Guild Master (although officers have more power)

Can I be a Paladin and an Officer?

Certainly, in this case, your rank in the game will remain as an officer, but everywhere else, you will be seen as a Paladin

This is because officers have more power within the guild and are assigned the role after discussion and acceptance of their expected tasks. Paladins don't have to do anything to help the guild beyond the original donation, but we often find that Paladins are also officers.

So how do I become a Paladin?

Easy, all you have to do is go to any bank, select Guild Bank and make sure you have Skyrim Red Shirts selected if you are in more than one guild, then Deposit 1 million gold or more. Once this is noticed by an officer the process of promoting you, assigning roles, and adding your name to the website will begin. Note, if you wish to speed this up then send a mail to the GM to let them know you have deposited to become a Paladin (due to ZOS Guild Resources not updating quickly and officers being busy doing other stuff). It's also worth sending the mail and detailing your Discord name if different to your userID.
