Trader
Still at Ebonheart, this time I only paid 3,123,456 and I am surprised we got it. So that's saving 3M a week based on the previous price I was paying, I'm so pleased I conducted this experiment. So naturally I am going to bid a further 1M less today, this is almost certainly going to be as low as I can get, I will be amazed if we win it at 2M. I will also bid at out of town traders just to ensure we get something. The experiment is about ascertaining the lowest possible bid to ensure we win.
Trials
This week we completed Veteran Sanity's Edge with only two wipes as we learned the mechanics, well done all. The next trial is Rockgrove tomorrow, on Veteran, I think this will be a little easier, so don't forget to sign up.
The Guild Village - Wisteria Grove
We've just passed 200 recommendations. I am absolutely thrilled with this achievement. I have no idea how that compares to other guilds, but I do know that it helps our guild to feature in the Guild Finder listing. So if you've not yet recommended or would like to recommend again please go there, press F5 and T to recommend the village and help our guild grow.
Boosting the Discord Server
TLDR - Don't bother
Whilst much appreciated @DylanDawnStar - Nuria-age for boosting the server, please don't waste your money. The boosts only last a month and unless you have some free boosts from Nitro, never spend actual cash on this server. In my opinion it's not worth the cost. If Discord offered reasonable prices I would boost it myself but $35 a month to get to 7 boosts which just offers slightly improved sound and video as well as silly emojis and a server banner, just isn't worth it. I would pay $5 a month for that, no more. Unless they radically change their pricing structure they're not getting a penny from me. I went Nitro last year just to say thanks, and it cost me $99, wasn't really worth it at all. Holidays and AFK This seems to be coming up a lot during the holiday season, please read the rules about absence from the guild, here is the associated section. The upshot is that unless you haven't logged in for ages or are going on a very long holiday you won't be removed.

The new update arrives Monday 18th August. There are some nice QoL items. For me, I am really looking forward to seeing my Mammoth swim. Replaying previous NPC dialogues is also going to be nice.
What won't be nice is the nerf to Arcanists making the banner pretty much useless. I tried my build without banner but using other abilities and it dropped from 125K to 115K. I may be able to improve this a bit but all are going to see some droppage.

DPS Leaderboards
I'm going to be introducing a new event soon where people can win achievements and maybe prizes for topping the DPS leaderboards within the guild. This will take some spreadsheet work and needs some fleshing out but all are welcome to take part as long as you can be on Discord and know how to share your screen. It would be nice to do the same for tanks and healers but this is far more challenging, so I'm intending on starting with DPS first and fleshing it out from there later. There will be categories for different main classes, e.g. Arcanist, Pet Sorc, Templar, Necro, DK, etc and overall. A new achievement badge will be created and this will be linked to the achievements page here
