Login Issues

It's been a week of server issues at ZOS, with many of us unable to login or change zones or at least having a very long delay if not kicked completely. Here is the explanation from ZOS. @ZOS_KEVIN Just wanted to follow up on this after some investigations. There is a stability problem with the connection between DFW (North American datacenter) and FRA (European datacenter). FRA relies on that connection heavily to remain up and we're working with our provider to investigate and resolve the stability issues. So we know what the issue is and working to resolve it.

Suffice it to say, should you have any difficulties logging in or changing zone, check the Discord and forums first as it is most likely at their end.

Trader

This week we continue to be at our spot in Ebonheart, I will bid for this weekly now, the price is still high for a non-trading guild like ours but it can be sustained. We are only at 19 pages of items (100 items per page). Trading guilds are running at 150 pages of items as everyone in the guild is a trader. So whilst it's not our intention to ever become a major trading guild it also means that it's not possible to hire the best spots every week.

I also notice that many people are still not checking the prices they list for with many people spending a lot to list items that are many times higher than the average selling price. If you do this you are literally throwing away your money and wasting a sale spot as well as your time. Buyers are not stupid, they check prices too and will laugh at some of the prices peopple in this guild list items for. Listing a style page that sells on average for 120K for 1 million gold is never going to get a sale. Use Tamriel Trade Centre, and preferably the addon, to ensure that your prices are realistic. Not many duellers this week, but the winner was Valkrym with a very strong build, even my werewolf couldn't stand up to this, I came second and Vinny (Enigmatic Tea) came third. A good effort by Teach didn't quite get him onto the podium. As always, great fun and a good laugh on Discord, thanks guys.

The Great SRS Treasure Hunt

We have received some correct answers for the Treasure Hunt, at least I know it works ok if people are able to crack the location of the treasure. Cyrodiil

We are back in the Gray Host Campaign from last week. We tried Blackreach but the problem was there just weren't enough EP players to make it viable. Yes it was possible to capture keeps more easily because many were undefended, but it was a shallow meaningless victory at best. Whilst Gray Host is usually dominated by DC it does give us more chances for epic battles. I am looking forward to trying my Bow build this evening which you can learn more about below.

The new ranged bow Knight Build

This is my latest build. Whilst it doesn't shatter any records by far it is fun to use and will return an easy 70K on the dummy. The fun thing about the build is that it's designed for long-range use, so while not in PvP gear, I hope it will be especially useful defending keeps. Compared to PvP damage, this is huge and can probably one-shot players if I can stay alive long enough! Find the build on this page. It does tend to slaughter its way through PvE with the Acid Spray being almost as effective as Fatecarver on mobs, so all in all a fun, easy one bar versatile bow build you can try now. If you can improve it without laying down dots from the back bar, let me know and I'll edit the build. Trials News

Our trial this Sunday is Veteran Sunspire. From what I'm told, this veteran version of the easy trial doesn't add in many new mechanics and is generally just harder than the normal version. After our failure to complete Veteran Cloudrest I am hoping that this will be our first Veteran DLC trial clear.
