Hidden in this blog is a Star Trek reference. If you find it, like this blog (click the heart icon at the bottom) and mail me ingame for a prize of 50K Gold, (mail is @mathius_mordred) stating what the reference is and who said it.

New Recruitment Video Please visit YouTube, like, subscribe and comment. This really helps the algorithm offer this to other people who may then want to join us. Despite asking for all members to take a look after several days, it still only has 12 views, I really don't understand why it's so low. Unless it increases, I probably won't be doing any more videos; it's just not worth the time and effort if nobody is going to look at them. Trader Oh no, we lost Ebonheart, well that's annoying, despite bidding 2.2M last week, we were outbid on all Ebonheart Traders. It's really odd because a few weeks earlier, I got it for 1.5M. This week we will get it back as I will bid a bit more. I'm still not going to bid mega bucks though as most people in the guild don't even bother selling, the tax revenue is so minuscule it never gets anywhere close to paying for itself. Duelling

1st Shalseth 2nd Matt and Bely 3rd LordOvega Thanks to all those taking part. There was a smaller turnout than normal but still enough for an event. Remember, you can win 200K gold for 1st place, 100K for 2nd and 50K for third place. Join us every Thursday at 9PM. The Writhing Wall Event

ree

There has been a lot of disappointment with this event. The main complaints seem to be, too many boring fetch quests and poor rewards, all locked behind a paywall. I have to agree with the above; however, there are points to note and a better way to enjoy the event. This is just phase one of the event, there are three phases altogether. As each new phase starts, more rewards are added. I understand from ZOS that these rewards will be increasingly more valuable for each phase.

ZOS have a designated but undisclosed start time for each phase, because of this they will continue to adjust the progress meter so that it ends on the right date. This means that even if nobody did anything at all it would still progress, so don't let the progress meter urge you into farming this event, it's just not necessary. The progress meter is a red herring; it is meaningless as it has already been blatantly adjusted by ZOS to suit their needs and has zero reflection on what is actually being done by you and others, so just ignore it. So what should you do to get the best from the event? Here's what you do. Each day I recommend you do at least one Siege event, which gives the Siege Glorious reward box and you can also log it for GP. Once you pick up the Siege Quest, walk over to Orinde Glenuvon and get the Charging the lens quest. This is the one for the Vitrified Souls and can be done at the same time as the Siege camps, usually, a single Siege will suffice but two will definitely fill this quest with the 15 souls you need. When handed in, this gives you another Glorious Reward Box. Then do just one very quick crafting event for the third and FINAL Glorious box. Do NOT do the fetch quests from Quatermaster Nurwalne, these do NOT give Glorious boxes. They did on the PTS but apparently ZOS thought this was too much goodness and nerfed it. So, to recap, you only need to do the following each day. 1 or 2 Siege camps - Glorious Box 1 Charging the Lens quest - Glorious Box 1 Crafting Quest - Glorious box 0 Fetch quests. That's at most 10 minutes work and you're done. You can then go back to what you were doing before this event started. New Content Guide

ree

In this new Guide, I discuss the different types of ESO game you can purchase and the benefits of ESO+. Catch the guide here. Guild Point Live LeaderBoard and Event Tool Updates.

ree

There have been numerous changes to various systems this week. Many are just cosmetic, but below I highlight the ones that affect guild members the most. To see all the changes, go to the Patchnotes channel on Discord. Added the total number of events archived for this user alongside the last date an event was logged. This is useful for me to see when the next likely promotion is coming up. I do have another sheet that tells me this but this change allows me to get a quick overview of all players. It's also useful for the player to see how many more events they will have to do for a promotion.

Added the © symbol after a person's name means they have Completed the daily endeavour, e,g

SRS Event report. Event No 5210: VET HM Aetherian Archive. Players: Adachi545©, Ahrvanas, alex_falconson©, Algizik©, Alienated-303©, Alienoutlaw226, AlikFalcon, Alildo©, Alternant, AndyShakin©, Annabel2210©, Astridloveless©. Max possible score-99GP

So if you were wondering what this meant when you see it in game, now you know. Added a Add New Player dialogue box to the event tool

ree

A major change to the Event Reporting Tool. This change affects adding a new player.

When a player in your group is not in the list because they are new to the guild or have never done an event before, it is necessary to add that player using a script.

Previously, this required you to write the player's name in a cell and press enter, then click the add new player script button.

Many people didn't understand that pressing Enter was critical, and without it the script would just enter a blank name.

The Change

This cell has now gone completely. Instead, there is a script button called Add New Player at the top of the sheet.

Simply click this button, and the above screen will appear. Now it is much more intuitive, simply enter the name and click OK to add the player and you will then be able to select them from the player dropdown list. (Note there may be a few seconds delay before you can find them in the list).

This is a massively modified script from before and will require you to authorise it (sorry about that, but it is only a one-time authorisation for your Google account).

I think this will be far easier for new people to understand and it looks and functions much better than before You missed a competition I was curious to see if anyone ever read the patch notes on Discord, so I offered up a small competition: a couple of questions regarding the patch notes I'd written, the first person to get them right got 200K. After a few hours, there was one answer, from Vogorlo, who won the 200K. I may add more of these hidden competitions to encourage reading of the Patch notes from time to time. Make it so! Well done, Vogorlo!

Welcome Back

ree

It's nice to see some old friends coming back to the guild after spending some time away from ESO. What surprised them is that, although they lost their yearly Guild Point total, their events are still recorded in our archive, so they can immediately regain their previous status. This is just one advantage of recording everyone's event data. New Paladins

ree

Several new Paladin ranks have been granted this week. Many thanks to the following people for donating 1M gold to the guild, this really helps us keep the guild ticking over, hiring traders, paying for competitions and so on.

Trials

ree

So we got our butts kicked on the first (and hardest) boss of Veteran Dreadsail Reef last week. But by the end we figured out how to beat it, we were just too tired to continue. The fight continues this week and every Sunday until we beat Telaria. Don't miss out on this epic struggle with Skyrim Red Shirts, sign up for the Veteran Trial, there are still a few spots left. Have a great week, everyone All the best Matt
