Greetings from a very hot and sunny Turkey.
Trader
This week, once again, we are in Wayrest, and I will continue to bid on this premium location, as everyone does quite well there. Of course, as a guild, we sell around 100 million less than we need to make this spot self-sustaining, but whilst I have the gold, I will continue to try and get you folks the best spot.
Raffle
This was won by Izalon with number 34. Congratulations to Izalon, who wins 420,000 gold. Also, thanks to Gurettal for maintaining the raffle for us.
Guild Points Live has a new Look

I have updated the GP Live tool to include abbreviated achievements shown above. There is a link at the top of the page to take you to the full achievements page. This is ongoing work to improve the visual appeal of the website and the information it can deliver.
New Pet Sorc Build Added
A new 96K meta pet sorc build has been added to the website builds section entitled Shock and Claws. I have been getting some awesome trial run results with this build, it's super easy to build, requiring only two easy dungeon sets and the Oakensoul ring, as well as subclassing. Click the image to go to the build.
Major Mess Made of the Guild Point Recording Tool
Yesterday I returned from my evening out in Marmaris to a message that the GP logging tool was screwed. Normally, this means that a cell had been inadvertently deleted. However, in this case, half the sheet had been deleted. Whilst I doubt this was malicious, it's very hard to see how this could have been done by accident.
Fortunately, Google Sheets has an update history recovery tool, so I was able to restore a previous version from a couple of hours earlier, and little data was lost; what was lost was re-entered.
This is important, if you make a mistake and think you may have done something wrong on the sheet that could have damaged it, simply press the standard Windows Undo function, which is Ctrl and Z together.
If this happens again and it turns out it was malicious, then we will have no choice but to lock the sheet to all but registered members. So please be careful, watch the instruction video before attempting anything with the sheet. I link it below again for reference.
Request for Loot Redistribution
A request was made to me to change the way loot is distributed after Trials and Dungeons. Currently, the only way I have ever seen is people who wish to share their loot link it in group chat, and others then ask them if they can have it. Apparently, for some people, this is difficult, although I am still not sure why. The request was that all loot be handed to one person and then distributed by that one person to those who need it.

I can tell you now that this will not happen in SRS. Giving loot away to other players should be done freely and without any checking to see what you have, with subsequent questions as to why you are not sharing loot. This could leave a bad feeling for some and cause them to not want to play with us again.
My suggestion is that if you are struggling to see what loot you need in the big list of items linked in group chat, use SetCollectionMarker, an addon which I find incredibly useful. It will mark any items you have not yet collected with a gold symbol in both chat, inventory and bank space. You can instantly see which pieces you need from the many pieces posted in the group chat, then just ask the person if you can have it. If you are too late and it's been given to someone else first, that's just bad luck. Creating a lifelike image from your screenshots
The image at the top of the page is pretty good, right? This is done using ChatGPT. Simply post a screenshot of your character, I used the login screen and cut out all the text, upload it to ChatGPT and use a prompt like "Please make the image posted more lifelike, give it a cinematic quality with emphasis on making the character's face as close to the original as possible".
After a minute or two, you will get an image, if you don't like it, just ask ChatGPT to try again. In the image above, I further enhanced the exposure in Paint.net and then upscaled it to remove any jaggies using Topaz Gigapixel AI, The latter is expensive software and not required, but I use it for my IRL job, so I had it available. The result is fun, you can also then use https://hailuoai.video/ to animate the image, which is less successful but is often fun, and currently they are giving away over a thousand credits. Here's what mine turned out like
Recruitment
For the last two months, I have not had to recruit because our guild listing is at the top or near the top of listings for guild finder in the game for social guilds. This is because we are very active, and our Guild Village has over 100 recommendations. If you have not yet recommended the guild village, you can do so by going there, pressing F5 and T to recommend. The more recommendations we receive, the higher our listing will be in the guild finder.
Competitions
A new Catch the Clown event will begin on Tuesday for two weeks, Teach will post the details in the Competitions channel on our Discord, don't miss out, see if you can crack the fiendishly tricky clues, I am hopeless at this and couldn't even enter the last one, others seem to know exactly where each location is as soon as they see it. The winner is pulled by RNG from the correct entries at the end of the competition for a cash prize.
Trials
Firstly, don't forget to signup for the latest trial. These are super fun events, usually on normal difficulty and available for everyone to join.
We had a discussion regarding running more Veteran Hardmode trials, this is something that some of us could manage, but the vast majority of guild members are casual and not particularly interested in spending countless hours running the same event over and over until they succeed or ultimately give up. As an example of the difficulty difference, we can clear normal cloudrest in less than 10 minutes as a guild, we can clear normal Cloudrest +3 in about 15 minutes. We have yet to get past the first mini boss on Veteran Cloudrest, and one of our members who was also in another progression guild ( a guild solely interested in running the hardest content) was trying for the Cloudrest Trifecta, probably the hardest content in the game.
It includes the Hard Mode, in this case +3, no deaths in the team and a speed run, usually in under 30 minutes. These are some of the top players in the game with META BIS builds, it took them, running the trial several times a week, nine months to succeed. Now some my enjoy this kind of challenge, for me that kind of commitment has to reward something very special indeed, not just a title and a dye. However, if you wish to run this kind of trial, I suggest you form a group within the guild of likeminded individuals and give it a go, good luck!
Here's Alcast showing how it's done if you're interested.
Don't forget, you can ask me anything
Finally, in the bottom right corner of the website is our super smart AI chatbot, you can ask it anything about the game or the guild, if the answer is somewhere on our website it will find it for you. Give it a try, it's free of course and surprisingly accurate.
Have fun
Matt
