This weeks duelling event
This weeks duelling event

Hey everyone, welcome to the weekly news roundup.

Trader

This week we have been fortunate enough to get Wayrest in Stormhaven again, I will continue to bid here as it's just about affordable at just over 8M gold per week. I also bid on other cheaper spots just in case we are outbid at Wayrest.

Duelling

This week the duelling saw some new faces with Wilson and Adam taking part. I put my Werewolf to one side and had a go with a PvE Pet Sorc that did quite well, this will be optimised for duelling and I think it will be quite interesting if annoying as hell to fight with all the pets. Results: First place - Wilson Second place - Mathius Third place - Teach

Raffle

The winner with number 56 was Obviousend who wins 620K

Catch the Clown Competition

The latest Catch the Clown competition is up and on the #competitions channel in Discord, thanks to Teach for this competition. The competition closes in two weeks.

Guild Membership We are constantly between 490 and 500 guild members. When we reach 500 members our guild listing is hidden from the available guilds to join until we drop below 500 members again. This is fantastic, it's taken almost 2 years of constant recruiting and the building of the Guild Village which seems to be tied into the guild listing, with 122 recommendations we are always at the top of the listings, it's like being on the first page of Google! Because of this those eligible to be kicked are now removed on a daily basis, so if you haven't logged in for a while you might want to just login to refresh your AFK time otherwise you will be removed and it may be difficult to invite you back immediately and impossible if we are full. Maybe the guild cap of 500 will be increased this year, I hope so. My Forum Post this week

What happend to Seals of Endeavour?
What happend to Seals of Endeavour?

This week I posted about the lack of Seals of Endeavour in the daily login rewards, you can read and comment about it here

Seals were introduced in October 2023 and were fairly constant for a year but aside from a bribe to compensate us for a massive downtime at the start of January the last scheduled SoE was in November 2024. Here is the list of payouts

October 23 - 250 day 14

November 23 - 250 day 14

December 23 - 250 day 14

January 24 -500 day 7

February 24 -500 day 7

March 24 - 450 days, 1,6 8,13, 15, 20

April 24 - 500 day 10

May 24 - 500 day 7

June 24 - 500 day 9

August 24 - 300 day 21

November 24 - 300 day 21

January 25 - 1000 day 1

nothing since November. Some people think it's because ZOS want us to gamble for the Radiant Apex mounts rather than earn 2 per year as you could with this system, now it's about one every 8 months. System Updates

The Guild Points Live page now shows the Daily Guild Endeavours and a reminder of the monthly rewards. Endeavours are a great way of boosting your daily Guild Events by 10% with an additional 100 GP thrown in for free. ESO Logs added to the website

A new page on the website will give you easy access to the logs we run for our trials, take a look here.

Clicking on the link on the website will take you out of our site to the ESOlogs page, here you can see all the logs I have posted for our trials. Click on the logs to get detailed information from the event. In addition, our webpage will give you instructions on how to NOT appear annonymous which is on by default. Guild Points Event Reporting Tool Version 2.7

V2.70
V2.70

Two important quality of life improvements have been made to the reporting tool, 2.6 took several hours of scratching my head and rewriting lots of javascript but finally it works. V 2.6 Added a multiplier for each player in the group. This is really useful for those logging the event. Before this update if a large group were running something like Dragon hunts, some people would drop before the end of the event, so you may have something like players 1 to 5 running 20 dragons, player 6 running 15 dragons, player 7 running 5 dragons, player 8 running 2 dragons etc. In this case a new log had to be created for each of those people as they dropped from the group. Now with the update the person logging the event can simply choose how many dragons each person has done and only one event need be logged. Of course this applies to many events, not just dragons. V 2.7 This did leave the small issue of what happens if everyone did 5 dragons, rather than having to go through all the dropdowns and change them to 5, you can now use the master multiplier, enter 5 in this new dropdown then hit the Commit button. Note, this is a new script that you will have to authorise. Once you hit Commit all the dropdowns will be populated with 5 very quickly. I hope you guys enjoy these new features, it certainly will make my life a lot easier when logging points. Have a great week folks Matt
