Guild Village at almost 100 recommendations
Guild Village at almost 100 recommendations

Hey everyone, welcome to another great week at SRS. Later I will be getting a bit technical for those who use the Guild Points Event Tool so scroll down to see this week's major updates. Raffle The raffle was won by Petrichor'42 who wins 455,000 gold with number 52. You can see all the raffle results in the raffle channel on Discord. If you're not on Discord click the link at the top of the page to get started. Trader This week we are in Wayrest, one of the top spots in the game, I was surprised we got this to be honest and don't expect it every week. Make the most of this top slot before it ends on Tuesday, I will bid on it again but let's see if we get it.

Guild Village We are at 95 recommendations, this is incredible, it's not long since I was asking you guys to get us to 50! With higher recommendations our guild appears at the top of the Guild Finder which means we no longer have to recruit. In fact we are constantly at 490-500 members and we've reached the point where people can't even apply because we are full. It means those who are AFK for more than a month, or two months for adventurers can be removed and then replaced immediately with people who are actually playing the game. Help us reach that magic 100 recommendations, when in the guild village just press F5 then T to recommend. Thanks everyone.

The Church has been finished and I love the results. There are a few tiny bits to add but I'm waiting for a lead for certain items. Take a look inside when you visit the guild village, and go there before running VMA to pray to all of the Tamriel Gods for great RNG!

Event Frequency Chart

This is an interesting graph of all the events we have logged, you can see what's popular and what's not, go to this page to study the results: https://www.skyrimredshirts.co.uk/event-frequency I bet you would think that Fungal Grotto 1 would be the most played dungeon, but it's not, take a look at the chart to see the results. Or which trial do you think we've done the most, it's not Cloudrest which was my guess. Here's a snapshot of what you can see.

Duelling Event This was our biggest Duelling Event so far with 8 people taking part and several spectators, we had 12 members in the Guild Village for this. The winner was David (Maximus Mordred), with 2nd place to Shalseth and joint third between Mathius Mordred and ValiantSoldier

Guild Points Tool

Progress Meter

Version 2.57

Version 2.57 added today is a Progress meter which tells you the percentage of the logged data, this is useful for those entering the data so they know how long it takes, it's usually less than 20 seconds but it's a good reminder to wait until its finished before moving to something else. The changes to the script are quite large so you guys may have to allow it to run again.

Version 2.55

Version 2.55 introduces a column that tells the player the last time they were recorded as playing

Version 2.56

Version 2.56 works on speeding up the data acquisition, archiving and including all events ever played

Using a new script available only to me so you guys don't have to allow it.

At the end of the day, the script will take the current block of data from L6:AD in the reporting sheet, append it to the bottom of the "Archive" sheet in columns A:S, and then clear the original data while keeping the last row as the new starting point.

This allows:

Greatly improved event logging speed

Facility to search through all records from the beginning of the Guild Points System (November 21 2024)

Updates the Live Points list with the date last logged from the beginning of time

Will cross-link to the event Frequency chart to give more accurate information regarding which events are played the most.

Enjoy the week ahead
