Hey everyone
Time marches on and we are already 16 weeks into the year! Here is the latest news affecting Skyrim Red Shirts.
Trader
Our Trader this week is back in Ebonheart. Last week's trader in Skingrad realised 30 million in sales, our highest ever. Now I don't know if that's due to the location or just some individuals with high trade values, from the figures it looks like the latter, but great job all, that raised 1 million in taxes for the guild and is a real help towards the trader, still a long way from self sustaining but certainly getting there.
Duelling Area

I have updated the duelling area in the guild village and actually gained back 35 traditional furnishing slots by doing so. I really like the new area and I've also increase the size of the arena by around 20%. With the Clockwork spotlights it really stands out. I am not buying the duelling mat from the crown store though because it's quite expensive, the sigils are way overpowered, some effects can knock you through the floor and it's absolutely enormous, like 4 times the area of our arena. There is a thread on the forum about this and a lot of disappointed purchasers, hopefully ZOS will take our ideas onboard and make some adjustments. In the meantime, Teachersleight has the Duelling area with the sigils if you want to go and test them, we tried it last night with mixed results, it's certainly different!
Duelling Results

Wolf Pack Event

This last week saw 7 wolves and was great fun, we even took down a dragon. It would be amazing to finally run a trial as wolves, so if you would like to join in the bloody fun please ask in guild chat for a bite, run the quest then level up your pooch in time for next Tuesday's event. I have a lot of experience with furry pets, so if you need any advice, I'd love to help. New Bonus for Wolf Pack Event
If you can maintain your wolf form for the entire event you will receive double points, that's 100 guild points. Some tips for this:
Use the Pack Leader morph Stay near your companions Eat regularly and almost anything Make sure all your passives are maxed out
Another tip, use the Macarbre Vintage set on your wolf, the AoE blood splash damage is insane and looks amazing, it really fits the hack and slash of the werewolf.
Trials

Last Wednesday we ran veteran Hel Ra Citidel without any issues followed by normal Cloudrest + 1 also without any issues, good work everyone, you are all learning the mechanics really well. DDs keep trying to increase your damage, there were still too many DDs with really low damage, it's not that hard but do feel free to ask for advice. There is a log under the trial signup on discord so you can see what you were doing and where improvements could be made, look at buff uptimes, use combat metrics to check which abilities are underperforming, check your weaving average and so on. Healers couldn't be faulted and the tanks also did well considering it was their first time tanking this dungeon. We will gradually start to pull in more veteran trials starting with the Craglorn trials, it will still be some time before I am confident enough to schedule a vDSR as this is on another level entirely! One thing to note. Nobody will EVER be pulled up for making a mistake or under performing. None of us will single out anyone for poor performance, this is not how we roll and if any of you ever get harrassed or criticised I want to know about it. We are here to have fun not chase sweaty achievements and strutt around waving our epeens, most of us are way too old for that nonsense, so please have fun, don't worry if you can't pull your weight, you will know yourself if you are falling short and you can always ask for help if you feel you need to improve.
Competitions
A new "Catch The Clown" event is up on the Discord Competitions channel from Teachersleight, please take a look and have a go at this as it's a lot of fun. Here is a preview:

"Hello Boys, Girls and Mudcrabs! It's that time again.
Welcome to the second "Catch the Clown" event. (In the Daggerfall Covenant Base game areas)
Just a reminder of the rules:
Send a screen shot of your character standing in the same place as dribbles, we need to see your character in the pic (not first person). As well as a pic of the map showing your location.
ALL SIX pics need to be sent at the same time to @@Teachersleight
Lets see who has the Sweetrolls to find all three.
Enjoy the event and good luck.
Oh! and... Why did the Nord bring a ladder to the tavern? He heard the drinks were on the house! he he"
Go to the Discord channel to see the pictures.

Welcome New Members
Finally a big welcome to all the new members this week, that's about 40 of you. For many this is the first time you've played ESO and it can be a daunting prospect, we are here to help, never fear asking dumb questions, there are no dumb questions, if you are wondering something you can be sure that at least a few others in our 500 strong guild are also wondering. Ask in Discord or in Guild Chat.
