10.000th Event Announcement

Hey guys, since November 21st 2024, when I started the events system to reward guild points leading to prizes and achievements, we have almost completed 10,000 logged events! This is huge; it's an average of 17 events per day. In celebration of this milestone, we are holding a special event on June 28th, when we should be around the 10,000th event (we are at 9,534 at the time of writing). This is a Sunday, and we will be starting at 11 am for two hours. We will reconvene at 6 pm with the same teams and finish when all those pesky world bosses are slain! (So Cyrodiil may be late or cancelled for this evening.)

116 Bosses

There are around 116 world bosses in Tamriel, and each will give a special reward of 10 guild points each. This will give 1,160 guild points, and as this is over the cap of 300 per day, the points will be manually added for each player. Each person taking part will also earn one-third of the new "SRS Veteran Service Medal". The next third will be earned at a special event for 15,000 events, and the final third will be earned at the 20,000th event. So this is a long-term achievement that requires players to take part in all three events. To qualify for the first third of the achievement, you must slay at least 50 of the bosses with us. So you don't have to stay for the whole thing if you need a break or have other IRL plans. The next two events will be revealed closer to the time and may be very different. Once you have earned the SRS Veteran Service Medal, you will receive a staggering 1 million gold!

So, make a note in your calendar, free up Sunday, 28th of June, and join one of our teams. There may be several teams led by different stewards.

Notes:

1. Please wait for everyone to be at the boss before starting your attack, so we can all loot them.

2. Dragons in Elsweyr are included, and we will do three in the North and three in the South.

3. If you decide to leave the team, please make sure the lead steward knows you've left so we can record how many bosses you helped to exit Nirn.

4. Stewards should get as many of the dailies ready to share before the event, so they are ready to go, but we will not be handing them in during the event; (due to time constraints) you can do that later.

5. Please use light attacks only on the world bosses unless they are very tough or there are not as many members present as expected.

6. Make sure you have some snacks and drinks on your gaming desk, we won't be waiting for you as we move from boss to boss (gaming diapers are an option!)
   

For Stewards Each steward should make a note of who is in their team. The easiest way to do this is with the SRS Savegroup Addon linked here

The Addon provides a list in Notepad of the team members, so you can just write next to their names how many bosses they've done. I will need a copy of that list to log the achievement. Wait until all the teams are at the world boss before beginning the attack.
