An SRS PvP Werewolf Build
Claws of Doom
by Matt Johnson
Introduction
Strike terror into the heart of your opponent. This ridiculous werewolf build will dominate werewolf duelling and even do well against other non-werewolf duelists. Easy to build, requires practice to perfect, like any build.

A Justification?
Why use werewolf at all in PvP? Well, obviously this is a personal choice, but I love it, it's very satisfying to literally terroise your opponent, stunning them and locking them down whilst you apply a deadly bleed and damage them with your roar. The bleed is not something they can stand for long so if you keep the pressure on they are going to either die or run away. The down sides of playing a werewolf in Cyrodiil are glaringly obvious. Unlike vampires who can stay in their chosen form for hours, you get at max 3 minutes 20 seconds as a pack leader and about half that as a berserker. This means you can forget getting from keep to keep as a werewolf, especially in berserker form. In Cyrodiil the wild life is pretty scarce too so you can't really find that much to feed on between keeps to maintain your werewolf form. This means in practice you keep your Werewolf form for close quarters combat, ideally when you are defending a keep and you can keep rezzing inside when you get killed.
The build shines most in duelling. Once you are actually fighting you don't lose your werewolf form, so you can duel for as long as it takes. Battlegrounds have similar problems to Cyrodiil but it is easier to maintain form there than in the giant horse simulator.
Despite these drawbacks it's still a satisfying build to play with, and of course if there are more than two of you as dogs your form is maintained longer due to the "Call of the Pack" passive which can extend duration by up to 80%.
Gear:
This build utilises two of the best PvP sets in the game which are thankfully easy to get, Wretched Vitality and Rallying Cry. The Stats are listed below:

Two more items: The Oakensoul is essential, it is the obvious choice for a build that has only one bar to start with so nothing is lost by running this mythic and the vast number of buffs you get is not to be sneezed at. If you do want to use a monster set you're going to loose all those juicy Oakensoul buffs but the one to get is probably Selene. This spectral bear can hit massive damage if it crits, easily finishing off an opponent. I link these two below.

Skills:
Below is the skill tray for the Werewolf. On your non-werewolf bar your ultimate has to be the Berserker, for maximum damage.

Depending on your build you can see up to 15,000 bleed damage on this morph of the werewolf although you do lose some protection that you would get from pack leader as well as the extended werewolf form time due to the Call of the Pack passive which works in pack leader because of your two dire wolf pets. Play Style
Because this is a one-bar build the play style is not complicated. Generally you will do the following rotation to an enemy.
Pounce -> Claws of Life -> Deafening Roar -> Howl of Agony
This will do immediate damage from the pounce, apply the bleed from the claws, stun from the roar and whilst stunned do massive damage from the howl. If they are still alive, then don't forget to light attack as this increases the bleed damage. Throw in some heavy attacks to recover some resources if needed. Then just keep repeating, but always remember to keep the pressure on. Don't forget to block large attacks, run out of their ultimates, you can run rings around human opponents unless they scarper with streak.
Have fun with this build, join us on Tuesday evenings in the guild for our werewolf evening, a whole evening devoted to werewolf activities, often boss bashing, or a trial, followed by werewolf duelling, it's epic fun.
