Trader
Big oopsie here. For the first time in two years, I forgot to bid for the trader in time. The only excuse I have is that I was so busy at work, I actually forgot it was Tuesday. Sorry about that. I have, of course, already bid for our usual spot and also in Belkarth, although I doubt we'll get the latter, let's see.
Some new Achievements and events

Hard Mode Hero
Achieve 100 Veteran Hard Mode clears to receive this awesome achievement on your record.
Skull Crusher Challenge for Base Zone bosses and DLC Zone Bosses. See yesterday's blog for full details on this new event, which will be held on Fridays at 9 pm.

Finally, the previously announced SRS Endeavour Champion now comes with a 1-million-gold reward! This is obviously a long term loyalty type reward, as you can only do one a day at most. So I would expect some people to start reaching this midway through next year.
Promotions
Congratulations to the following:
Kasagaming - Event Dabbler - 100 events
Arllem - SRS Adventurer - 25 events
Alienated303 - Paladin

Some YouTuber leaving ESO One of the more well-known YouTubers has released a video crying about why he's stopping raiding in ESO. It's worth watching if you are part of the tiny minority who run in progression groups to try for Trial Trifectas. I can understand his anger. The YouTuber is Eigh1 Puppies, and here is his video My comment to him was as follows, and I only copied it here as it also explains to a lot of our members how I view our trial attempts: "I think the problem is that you are a niche player. Trial Trifectas are exceptionally difficult. It can, as you say, take months playing several times a week, hoping to get the same group, to actually achieve a Trifecta. In our guild, I only know of one person out of 500 who has done the CR Trifecta; for example, it took them 9 months in their prog group. What did he do after that? He left the game, totally burnt out and facing tough choices from his Mrs.
In our guild, we are happy just to finish a veteran DLC trial; we have done them all except DSR, OC and HoF. With DSR, we tried for 3 weeks running to get past the first boss; we made it eventually, and now we are stuck at the Reef Guardian. It's so insanely difficult that people just lose interest after 3 hours of not progressing. We are mostly mature people, between 40-70 years old, we have families, work, Uni, etc, we don't have the time to practise and to be honest, if we did, most would not want to.
We have more fun running the trials on normal difficulty; we can run two or three on normal in an evening. Your market is for a tiny fraction of the player base. That's what you chose, and it's not surprising for many of the reasons you give that the market is shrinking. But, for the vast majority of players, it's not shrinking; we have more choice now, with subclassing and scribing, we don't actually care what the DPS numbers are as long as they are good enough to get by in a trial. In our group, there are so many different builds, sure, many are arcanists, but there are sorcs, wardens, DKs, Necros, etc, all trying something different. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. We don't optimise raid groups, we don't care enough to do that, we just want to have fun, and if it gets too difficult, we'll drop it for a few weeks and go do something else.
Other content creators can make money from ESO content, but you'll find they spread their net wider, covering everything from housing through builds, through what's on sale, where to find it, best loot farms, etc. If your target audience is so minuscule to start with, then you're putting too many eggs in one basket. The same could happen in WoW, or any game." Comment below if you wish. Normal Dungeon Speed Runs A while ago, we unofficially started speed running Fungal Grotto 1 just to see how fast we could do it. We started off at around 2 min 20 sec, and now the fastest run is:
New Guild Record for FG1: 1 min 44.73
Matt, Inwe, Alien and Which
Inwe is building a spreadsheet with times for other speed runs. There is no prize, it's just for fun, so look out for that during the week. I will probably make a web page for the results when we have a few.
A New Werewolf Home and Werewolf Duelling Results
Inwe has the Hunter's Glade Home as her main home, this is where we run the Werewolf Duelling event on Tuesdays. You will find a link to visit in the MOTD. Thanks to Alienoutlaw226 (Karl) for purchasing this home for the Guild.
Here are the results from the werewolf Duelling event last Tuesday and this shot is from within the Hunter's Glade home. Whilst in this home, you can maintain werewolf form indefinitely, there is also an Aetherial Well to recharge your WW ulti if needed.

That's it for this week, don't forget to check our events calendar for all the upcoming SRS and ESO events, you can find it here: https://www.skyrimredshirts.co.uk/events

Reply from Eigh1 Puppies: Having more viable options at the top end means that choices at the bottom end tend to be stronger too, and even accidentally having more damage makes groups like yours more likely to be more successful in slightly more difficult content, making those experiences better overall. Having a healthy meta doesn’t take away from fun and choice at the lower level, if anything, it tends to reinforce it.
