Guild Rules & Guidelines
The following rules have been written to foster an enjoyable environment for all guild members. We are human, and we all make mistakes. You may not think that rules need to be this specific, but it seems they are required, and that's why all organisations with a lot of people in them have rules of this nature. Most are completely common sense, and some are guidelines. If you are unsure of any rule or guideline, please don't hesitate to contact me.
RULES AND GUIDELINES
Some of the items listed below are rules, others are guidelines; it should be obvious which is which.

Section 1. BEHAVIOUR

-
Treat all guild members with respect and courtesy, regardless of their level, experience, or background. Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or offensive language.
-
Maintain a mature and responsible attitude. Avoid drama, gossip, and unnecessary conflicts.
-
Don't insult people (in any language) you would be surprised how many people speak multiple languages.
-
Offer helpful advice and support to fellow guild members rather than criticism.
-
Don't pressure people to do something they don't want to do. If you can't find enough people for your event, use the group finder.
-
When you are in zone chat, you are an ambassador for Skyrim Red Shirts; don't bring the guild into disrepute.
-
Keep religion and politics out of all but private consenting chats. We don't want to hear your views (note that ZOS AI may monitor even your private chats in the game).
-
If you argue with a guildmate, sort it out like adults, learn to compromise, and be pragmatic. The guild leader only wants to hear about serious transgressions.
-
Racist attacks will see you removed from the guild, blacklisted and reported to ZOS.
-
Gender-based attacks will see you removed from the guild, blacklisted and reported to ZOS.
-
If you are kicked from the guild, you will also be removed from Discord and banned.

Section 2: Group Content (Trials, Arenas, and Dungeons)

2.1. Preparation & Arrival
-
Inventory & Supplies: Ensure you have enough bag space and a full stock of potions and food before the event begins.
-
Punctuality: Events start on time. If you arrive 10 minutes late, the group may have already started. Do not expect 11 others to wait for you to finish your current activity; you are either available or you are not.
-
Knowledge: For difficult content, please familiarise yourself with the mechanics beforehand.

2.2. In-Game Conduct
-
Pacing: Let the tank take the lead. Do not "speed run" unless it was explicitly agreed upon before starting.
-
Quests: If you are running the quest, inform the group at the start. Groups are expected to allow extra time for members to complete their quest objectives.
-
Atmosphere: Mistakes happen. We are a guild of learners. Any offensive remarks to another player will result in immediate removal from the group, forfeiture of Guild Points, and likely removal from the guild.
-
Leadership: Raid Leaders must maintain their composure. If players are dying, watch your temper; constant negativity ensures people will not raid with you again.

2.3. The Loot & Swap Protocol

To ensure everyone has a fair shot at gear without "free-for-all" stress, we use the following systematic method:

-
Required Add-on: You must have Loot Log installed to track drops effectively.
-
The 5-Minute Cool Down: Once the trial ends and quests are turned in, LEAVE the instance and head to the Guild Village. Note your specific location (e.g., Guild Arena, Church, Crafting Hall).
-
The Starting Signal: Trading begins only when the Raid Leader posts "BEGIN TRADING" in guild chat. Requests sent before this signal can be ignored.
-
The Silent Whisper: Open /lootlog, right-click the item(s) you need, and whisper the owner directly. Include your location in the message so they can find you.
-
No Voice Chat Trading: Keep the voice channel clear. All gear requests must be via Whisper.
-
Fair Distribution: If multiple people whisper for an item, the first person to message gets it.
-
The "Opt-Out" Code: If you wish to keep your loot or cannot trade, simply reply: "Sorry, I’m not at the Guild Village." This is our "no questions asked" code.
-
The 10-Minute Window: Trading is a brief window. The Raid Leader will shout "TRADING ENDS" after 10 minutes so everyone can move on to their next activity.

Section 3: Guild Points (GP)

-
All Guild Points must be entered via the Guild Point Reporting Tool (GPRT) found here
-
Events can only be logged with GPRT when more than one guild member is logged. The GPRT will refuse to log a single player.
-
It is not allowed to have two different accounts from the same person in the same event. E.G., if Bob has two accounts, Bob1 and Bob2, Bob is not allowed to log both of these accounts in one event for guild points, as this is effectively breaking rule 3.2
-
Only events that the tool can offer you are available for GP
-
Event Priority - Members in the voice chat on Discord will be given priority when forming groups for events. You should try to fill the remaining slots from the guild chat.
-
If you think an event is rewarded too highly or not highly enough, contact a Steward to discuss or post on Discord
-
When you enter an event into the Guild Point Reporting Tool, you have to digitally sign for the event. This means what you are posting is accurate and truthful, and you put your name to this.
-
To access the GP Tool and the Leaderboard Live, you must be signed in to the website, as these are members-only tools.
-
To use the tool, you must allow Google to access your account when running scripts. This sounds ominous, but it's not; it's to prevent malicious scripts from accessing your data. The JavaScript used in the tool are simple scripts designed for moving data from one sheet to another. The full code of the scripts is available in the #website section of the Discord; you can see it does nothing but access the sheet. There are several scripts to allow, one for uploading the points, one for creating a new player and one for undoing the last update should you make a mistake. There are a few others, and more may be introduced in the future.
-
After an investigation, anyone found to be deliberately adding events which they didn't do to gain a GP advantage (in other words cheating) will be removed from the guild regardless of their position.
-
Mistakes can happen no matter how foolproof a developer thinks their system is. If you think you've made a mistake and can't undo it, send the details to gpmistake@timeless-moments.co.uk or DM on Discord to @mathius_mordred.
-
GOLDEN ENDEAVOUR - You cannot use the UNDO feature to reroll an endeavour event until it goes GOLDEN.
-
GOLDEN EVENT - You cannot use the UNDO feature to reroll an event until it gives the GOLDEN EVENT reward.
-
You must have 4 or more team members to qualify for the GOLDEN EVENT. The system will ignore teams with fewer than 4 members.

Section 3A: Event Rewards
-
Different ranks reward different monetary values paid in ESO Gold. See the GP Overview page to discover all the different rewards that can be earned.
-
The value of rewards may be changed at any time without notification.
-
Rewards can only be paid once per account (unless it's a weekly event like duelling).
-
Members who have multiple accounts are only eligible for rank and achievement rewards on one account. You may continue to earn the achievements and ranks, but these will not be rewarded.
-
You may have multiple Paladin accounts, and in the event they are rewarded for an SRS activity such as duelling, they will be entitled to the 10% uplift.
-
You may not run two or more accounts in the same event.
-
No alternative prize will be offered unless explicitly stated in the event details.
-
No real-life currency option will ever be offered; it will usually be gold or some other ingame item.
Section 4: PvP

-
We are well aware that frustrations can boil over in PvP, so here are a few simple rules to bear in mind.
-
Do not teabag defeated players. Note: Werewolves may eat their victim!
-
Do not duel people who do not want to be duelled.
-
In Cyrodiil, stick with the raid leader and go where they say, don't go wandering off on your own quest.
-
Try to have everything you need for Cyrodiil before the event begins. If you save a PVP character to the armourer, it also saves your quick slot wheel, so have it stocked with ballistas, oil, repair kits, etc.
-
No excessive trash talk or gloating, as these can also create a negative experience for others.

Section 5: BANK & RAFFLE

-
If you have bank access (Adventurer and higher) please remember to deposit useful items from time to time.
-
Please don't withdraw more than 5 items PER DAY. To withdraw 5 from a stack of 50, withdraw all, split in your inventory and put 45 back. NOTE: Paladin Rank may withdraw up to 10 items PER DAY. Anyone found withdrawing more than their allowance may be kicked out without warning.
-
If you donate an amount that is a multiplier of 10,000, e.g. 60,000 it will be seen as a raffle ticket purchase. To donate without purchasing a raffle ticket make it a different amount e.g. 60,001. Raffle tickets are purchased in multiples of 10,000 gold, so if you want to buy 5 tickets you donate 50K to the guild bank. The raffle is drawn on Friday evening and then restarted for the next week. Everyone can enter.
-
Please do not donate companion gear unless purple colour (Epic).

Section 6: Trader Guidelines

-
Try to use an addon that tells you the going rate for an item; we suggest Tamriel Trade Centre.
-
Don't list items at ridiculously high or low prices; you will lose money either way.
-
After listing, if you have the TTC addon, make sure the client is running, you scan the guild and then use /reloadui to send the data to the website.
-
See the selling guides on the website

Section 7: DISCORD

-
Sometimes it gets really busy on Discord, so it can also get noisy. Please don't talk over other people.
-
If we are running a trial, please allow the raid leader to speak without having to interrupt your fascinating story.
-
Watch your language and tone of voice, basically, be respectful once again.
-
Please try to post in the appropriate channel.
-
Ensure you have selected the correct role for your game or you will not see much of relevance.
-
No NSFW posts.
-
Do not spam content.
-
Avoid excessive @mentions.
-
Links to other sites may be immediately removed without explanation.
-
Screenshots may be immediately removed without explanation.
-
Gross, abusive, pornographic and similar posts and or screenshots will be immediately removed, and the Discord member will be banned and kicked from the guild.
-
Event Priority - Members in the voice chat on Discord will be given priority when forming groups for events. You should try to fill the remaining slots from the guild chat.

Section 8: COMPLAINTS
-
Complaints must be backed up by evidence in the form of screenshots of the chat; hearsay will not result in a written warning unless two or more people also bear witness.
-
If you are going to record the audio of something being said, you must tell everyone that you are now recording audio. This can then be submitted as evidence.
-
Send your complaint with evidence to complaints@timeless-moments.co.uk, you may also DM @Matt Johnson

Section 9: DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

-
Transgressions from most rules will result in a written warning and a demotion to Regular for 1 week.
-
The second written warning will be the final warning and demotion to regular for one month.
-
The third written warning will result in dismissal from the guild.
-
Written warnings will stay on your record for six months, after which the record will be wiped clean.
-
For the most serious offences, members may be immediately removed from the guild without any written warning, but strong evidence will be required.

Section 10: ABSENCE

-
Guild members absent for 1 month or more will be removed from the guild. Different ranks have different AFK allowances. Please see the ranks page for more information.
-
It is not necessary to inform anyone that you are away on holiday, but you may if you wish
-
If you return to the game after a long period away, you are welcome to rejoin if there is space to do so; if not, you will be added to the waiting list.

Section 11: DONATIONS

-
Donations are gratefully received, and the donation system can be accessed from the top of each page with a button that says Donate. This opens a PayPal window where you can choose to donate any amount.
-
PayPal Donations require a business account to be active, so all donations are handled via Matt Johnson's business which is Timeless Moments Ltd. You may inspect the business website here: https://www.timeless-moments.co.uk/
-
Donations are used to help pay for the running costs of the guild, which is approximately £500 a year.
